Given this is a travel projector, it is important for some users to be able to use Smart DNS services or VPN services in order to be able to access certain content with country-specific restrictions. Thus the ability in the projector network settings to be able to set the DNS servers manually would allow use of Smart DNS services. Directly support for common VPN protocols would allow users to configure the projector to use VPN provider services that they may already subscribe to (rather than the pre-loaded services).
