My device no longer outputs any sound, on any app or HDMI source. Tried 3.5mm headphone jack, BT headphones, internal speakers. Audio settings are not mute. Factory reset and latest firmware, still no luck on any form of audio output.
Please help!

Hmm try to install MiUi-ify. Activate the notification area. Try to unmute, mute and set the sound level. If you activate the dev settings (press in settings 5 times to the secound line and after normal android settings is opened, go to info and klick more then 5 times to the build nr, then go back and open developer settings), you can turn off the forwarding of sound via usb.
You can connect a keyboard and try to mute, unmute, too…
