This feature would be very useful and is standard on low Pico’s that I have
Maybe it’s a nice feature for some people. For me personally - naah. There are other more valuable ones that need to be implemented first from the list.

I agree, and it’s so easy to set it yourself, it would be a waste of development time to implement this.
Plus you will find some users that actually need it to project upside down for some reason and not being able to do that due to the auto setting, meaning the auto setting will also need an override etc.
