Why is it that my manual four corner correction doesn’t work sometimes? - e.g some corners won’t move at all and others will let me move the y but not the x (and sometimes vice versa). Is there a technical setting I’m missing somewhere? I’ve calibrated a few times and still no joy.
There is no other setting, the correction only happens by reducing the size of the projected image same as the digital zoom it can’t increase it,
So the top 2 corners can only move down and in and the bottom corners can only move up and in from the default value of 0
Got you - so I effectively need the picture to cover the whole screen and a bit more and then I can reduce to size?
Yes pretty much so if you want to fill your whole screen you have to start bigger, but only use the 4 corner correction as a last resort, as you will also sacrifice picture quality for it, try your best to place it centrally if you can, either using a shelf on a wall, a ceiling mount or even a tripod, I’ve only used the 4 corner correction when I have taken it to different places where I have no choice but to do so.
