I have no problem mirroring from my iPhone but not from my Samsung galaxy thru smartview.
The projector just doesn’t appear most of the time. A few times where it did appear, the connection always failed.
Btw, does the mirroring use wifi or Bluetooth?
I don’t have a Samsung device but it works on my HTC 10. It was actually quite fast to connect and so far playback is smooth.
By the way, it uses Wifi as far as I know. Maybe try your phone on another casting device if it actually works.
The same for my iPhone. Fast to connect and smooth playback. My Samsung phone also has no problem connecting to our Samsung and LG TVs for mirroring, so this is quite frustrating. Is it because it can only support either iOS or Android, but not both?
