No Signal instead of built in with hdmi

when hdmi is plugged in in a turned off device (here apple tv) and ppm, when starting ppm it shortly shows the signal selection menu, while i chose built in, it still,switches to hdmi and shows the no signal screen. need to plug out the hdmi cable to get the built in ppm screen.

cant be intended or why have a switch menu otherwise?

still not working properly SOMETIMES i can switch to android with the home button after apple tv reset, but its a pain …

still not working reliable ^^ is it so hard to just show the selection menue every time when a hdmi/usb etc. display device is attached?
