Philips Screeneo s6 with external HDD

I recently tried to connect my external HDD to my screeneo s6. I formatted my HDD from NTFS to FAT32, as the manual mentioned that only FAT is supported. I connected my HDD to my Screeneo via USB. I can not find my HDD anywhere in my file manager, Kodi, VLC or MX player.

Can anyone explain to me how I can access my movies that are stored on my HDD.

Kind regards

Hello, have you tried both USB ports? Also, what is the storage capacity? Thanks

I have tried both USB ports, the hard drive in question has a 10TB capacity.

Hello, the S4 and S6 only supports up to 1Tb.
The first test is to use a normal USB Stick in fat32 to check if it is recognized.
Could you please test and get back to us?
Thanks

Hi everybody,
As I want to read to my 4K movies in my Screeneo S6 with my HDD.
How can I read my MKV files which are more than 4go if I have a FAT32 format ?
FAT32 is really limited in size specially when it comes to MKV files. Do you have any alternative solution ? DO you have any update that will accept exFAT or NTFS in the future ?
Thanks in advance

Hello Steven have you tried installing Plex server with the HDD and then the player on the S6 ?
