Real power off mode, no standby

I would love to see a real power off mode on the PPM which doesn‘t leave the IR receiver online.

There re two reasons:

  1. Really save as lot battery as possible. I don‘t want the battery be drained when the PPM sits on the shelve for a couple of month. Mainly to prevent deep discharging and physical damage to the battery.

  2. Preventing to accidentally turn on the PPM when something presses the remote in a bag.

So some menu entry in the settings which will do a real power down. The only way to get it up running again is by pressing the power on button on the device.

I would even go further and say it should need a long press or a double press to be turned on again.

What do you think?

I think it’s a good idea, especially thinking to the one that travel with PPM
