Is there an app for using apple home sharing. The computer with media on it is at the other end of the house to where we want to use the unit.
The computer is an Apple device or a Window PC?
You should be able to cast to the PPM, using airplay or Miracast. Alternatively you could use something like Plex or DLNA player like VLC or MX Player.

just trying plex at present. Computer I’ve arrived a Mac but away from display area, trying to avoid having to go to computer area
