What happens when the battery dies?

I would like to know what happens when the battery dies in a few years? Will we be able to plug in the USB C charger or a 65W power bank and watch without charging the battery? @Philips_Support_P

I think that shouldn’t be a problem with the battery bypass?

Philips also indicated that they can replace the battery. For a fee I guess.

According to the teardown pictures the battery even looks like it has a reasonable battery connector, so definitely not impossible to replace.

Can the system still work with the battery cable disconnected?

So for those that want to save the battery from wear and tear, you can operate the system without the battery connected.
