Here are my inputs
- Distortion using the 4-corner correction is a known bug that should be fixed. Hopefully soon because it’s kinda useless in extreme cases. Small adjustments are fine though i.e. Adjusting for the border of the screen to fit perfectly but PPM still generally centered to the screen.
- My wifi works fine in my apartment and my real home. I never experienced disconnection…at least nothing I remember. And also the same with the internet connection. One thing you can try though so you won’t need factory reset is to try connecting to your wifi via the hidden android menu
INFO: How to access hidden (default) Android settings? - I believe the chrome casting solution the PPM have isn’t real thing since google services are not present so it doesn’t exactly work like on a real Chromecast device. But it does work fine in my experience even with full desktop casting from laptop. Miracast/screen mirroring though works as how it works in most of my experience with wireless displays…quite bad and not reliable.
- Casting to Youtube I think is still bugged and a known one. As a workaround, you can pair the Smart Youtube app via its settings and it has a casting feature which works a lot better.
- Aptiode is bad. I agree There are other alternative stores that are better though such as f-droid (free and open source android apps), Apkpure and Aurora Store (both some kind of a mirror of the Play Store)
- Keystone does work on external source (HDMI/Type-C) but only vertical and not the 4 corner correction and zoom.
