Yes, it’s possible. With a Mac you can use AirPlay. With a Windows you can use Miracast. Please keep in mind that the quality will not be the same as with a wired connection.
In order for this to work, you need to run certain services on the projector. Please see this post:
Hi @PiWizard , please start the casting feature once by going to Settings > Screen Mirroring > iOS. This enables AirPlay, Google Cast and DLNA. After the first start, you can go back to the home screen, the casting feature will always be available in the future. Also make sure your PicoPix Max is connected to the same network as your phone or Mac.

On the PPM, go to Settings - Projector Settings - Mirroring
