Casting Facebook Video from Phone

Hi,

Casting from Youtube is working, however, when I try to cast the video from my Facebook app, I can see the PPM but can’t connect, and only get to see the notification of “initializing” in my Facebook app. Any possibility of fixing it in the next update?

Hi @Yaqoob if you have an iPhone, please use AirPlay to cast instead of the Chromecast icon inside the app.

If you have an Android phone, please install “AirServer Connect” which will let you cast via the more stable AirPlay protocol.

Using airserver connect brings vertical screen and is very unpleasant. How about something similar to youtube app casting for facebook videos (only).
Currently, the video on facebook app does dectect the presence of PPM to caste, however, it just fails to connect, contrary to youtube app.
