General info about shipment and manufacturing

Have you received an email from the address no-reply@s.backerkit.com with the subject “Response Needed – Get your reward for Philips PicoPix Max - 1080p Full HD Pico Projector”? The message contains a link to a survey, which you need to fill in. If you haven’t received that message or have not filled in the survey, Philips doesn’t have your address yet and they will not be able to ship the projector to you. If I understood correctly, those blanks in the list refers to people who haven’t submitted the survey.

If you backed the project recently, they might not have sent the Backerkit survey to you yet. Otherwise, you should have received it by now.

I don’t think they have included the recent shipment as the total shipped is still around 5K.

According to some earlier post it should be 7.5K if the recent shipment is included.

In the above, it seems to say that for those of user who had faulty devices, we will be advised by Backerkit when replacement is shipped. Is that going to be the approach?
I’ve had confirmation from help desk on 9th April that you’d received my returned item and would send a replacement “as soon as possible”
I’m in Europe, but suspect I just missed out on the shipment of 11th April.
Am I right to expect that:

  • my replacement will be in the next batch sent to Europe
  • I’ll be informed by Backerkit

I’m just checking because Helpdesk said they’d send email direct, not via Backerkit. Which is it? I’ve just checked Backerkit and it says delivered 31st January (which the original was). I’d be expecting this to show a different status - something like “Delivery pending”

1: yes indeed you will have an email from our Helpdesk but also from Backerkit as soon as we upload the new tracking number
2: the replacement unit is always in the next batch AFTER we receive the projector back to HK
3: on backerkit you cannot see something pending, there system doesn’t support this. Instead you will see a new tracking number

After 4 months the replacement has been indicated as shipped for me. For your reference @cjwilber. Screen shot is from backerkit and shows a 2nd entry. Fingers crossed now that it won’t be another faulty unit.

The System automatically hid your posts as they were flagged by a fellow forum user as being SPAM.

I just now reviewed most of these flags and unfortunately for that user’s flagging credibility, he flagged them wrong, as they were not SPAM (even though a bit spammy). Had that user flagged some as inappropriate I might have agreed with the flag, but SPAM they were definitely not.

So as you see, Philips isn’t hiding anything regarding you really, your account could’ve been silenced or blocked even but it hasn’t. So I’d suggest you think hard how you want to continue posting on this forum, cause even fellow users are getting fed up with your style.

Can any one answer me why when i told him stop feeding wrong information he got angry and hold my account and then cancel my contribution after waiting 7 months

He should apologise for wrong info not to cancel my projector.

I request a refund by email one day ealier but they refuse and said no more cancellation is allowed


But this time he cancel and hold my account for only personal reasons

@Dedohamdy Mate…you begged for a refund…got one and are now complaining you dont want a refund.

This is your own fault from your actions, maybe next time dont ask for something you dont want. Theres a lesson to be learnt here.

We have all experienced delays and must all remain patient.

Velislav, Ready to ship means these Backerkit accounts are ready Backerkit-wise for shipping ONCE there are units available for them and depending on the backing / shipping order.

It does not mean that the PPM’s are ready to be shipped.

I am backer 6462, living in Iceland, and still waiting status information on shipping and delivery. I note that you state that DHL does not deliver to Iceland. This is incorrect as DHL has normal services to Iceland. I e.g. received 3 packages today from them sent from 2 different countries to my home. Hence I cannot understand why the projector has yet to be shipped to me.

Should update their statuses to be more descriptive then :). Otherwise can be misunderstood. Did a quick calc…So ~8600 are ready for shipping. My next target is for my bday :).

You received 3 packages, Philips has to send more than 3, 21 to Iceland to be exact. And that may have proven more difficult or costly than they expected, but as they’ve sad before, they’re working on it.
