As noted in the topic, is KODI reporting the resolution for the Screeneo U5 to be 1920x1080 instead of 3840x2160 normal due to the pixel-shift technology used? Is this going to affect the picture quality?

can’t imagine, that its only KODI to show that. Are other apps show a higher resolution or also only a lower quality?
Hello, this is normal. The user interface of the projector (i.e. Android TV) and most apps are rendered at 1920x1080 with 2x upscaling. However, hardware-decoded video is played at full 4K, as well as external HDMI input. It’s not related to the XPR (pixel shifting) technology.
