Shipping to Mother Russia. New tax has arising

Hey. Calm down. It s only 33 eur. I d rather paid more for a fast and accurate shipping cuz hardly believe that our post will be careful with our items.

Guys, that’s true, 33EUR is not much to argue about. But please, also take into account, that when you are pledging, you are feeling yourself saving on a cool product being an earlybird. I still get loads of advertisement after the campaign finished (insta and fb), and the price is still 42% off. So, that’s kind of we’ve been cheated on, although no one really cares, and @Philips_Support_N wouldn’t even comment on it.

I even doubt that we were sold on a discounted rate. This way, it wasn’t really worth it, was it? If the price is the same, what’s the profit for a supporter? We could have just waited for the product to normally reach the market, pay same price, tax, and have it with all normal commercial guarantees.

So it basically seems that after the money has been collected, they don’t really care much for you anymore. The megacorp just don’t give a damn. This forum seems just made for the crowd to shoutout with no response.

Or maybe someone has the knowledge and information on how to expedite this difficult process of delivering projectors to customers. Thanks for any news.

Not a single unit was sent to Russia yet. Only about 4800 items to Europe. New date for start producing is March 2nd, as you can see in new banner.

DHL does not even work with individuals in Russia, only with companies. It is unclear how they were going to deliver.

By subcontracting another company most likely, like they did in Finland and other Scandinavian countries.

Hello! I saw that 4 backers from Russia have blank status. If I filled out backerkit survey with my name and address, but without my passport numbers, is it enough to have ready to ship status or not? If it’s not enough how can I add this information if backerkit survey is closed?

Same shit. They used DHL, and for some reason it cannot deliver to Russia now. I was on the list of the second batch, but then they threw me out of it. I don’t believe in this product anymore but they can’t even return money to people from countries blocked by DHL (less than 200 people now).

Phillips support is ridiculously absent. 4 days? That is a laugh.
I sent email to them 18 days ago. I already reminded them to respond 4 times since meaning 5 total emails to them. I received exactly 0 responses. This is already beyond ridiculous.

How can I escalate it?

All of us in Russia will soon be hit with another lowering of the custom duty free limit (going down from 200 to 100 EUR from 1st of July). This means that to avoid penalizing us again the shipments need to happen pretty much immediately given that postal services and customs are slow now.

Just to pre-empt responses of the kind “cannot ship now to Russia due to DHL, etc” - this would for sure be a lie. I have just received a shipment delivered by DHL+Russian Post from Germany that cost over 300 EUR. So DHL definitely can do it.

Please escalate or tell me who I should go to in order to escalate and at last get some traction.

Hello All,

We kept hearing from our forwarder that DHL could not ship to Russia, and we didn’t believe him either. We had a call with them to understand what the problem was, and it was simply that he was afraid to send the products in the current situation impacted by the covid19. He was worried about product dissapearing en route.

Having read that the duty free limit will drop, I understand the urgency and we will make it a priority to find a fix today or Monday.
