Can anyone tell me if there is a way to stop subtitles coming on for every single thing i watch. I cant seem to find anything in settings.
Maybe your problem has already been solved but I don’t think it is the U4 that shows the subtitles but the app you are watching. Had the same thing with one of the apps on Chromecast (vrtMax, Belgian TV channel) and finally found the solution (in the settings of the app).
Hi. Thank you for your reply. I managed to find a way to turn them off one at a time once the episode or film comes on. I wondered if have you found a way to permanently shut them down?

I’m using a USB stick and found that I can use the remote control to turn subtitles off on one episode at a time which is fine but would rather turn them off forever unless I need them as a one off. I don’t think its possible using the remote. Thank you for asking the question though.
