What is the USB port for? I have neither been able to play a file off a USB-Drive or connect an iPhone through a lightning port.
Do I need a specific USB-C cable to be able to connect a Google Pixel to the USB-C port?

1: the USB port is ONLY for power: you can plug an externa dongle like AMazon Fire Stick to the HDMI port and plug the USB cable to the Micro 2 USB to power the dongle
2: Which Google Pixel do you have ? SOme of them are not compatible with USB-C video
