General info about shipment and manufacturing

I don’t think that BackerKit has considered end users at all when they named those fields, the screenshots that PhilipsNono posted are of screens that probably are meant only for the people administrating the crowdfunding campaign.

Completely agree. I’ll write up some clarification later on to explain this.

Hi @Philips_Support_N When will you ship to Russia? I got several packages from China during “these days” – every time within a couple of weeks and got no problem.

Contribution ID

Any option to get what Contribution IDs are assigned to each country. I work in ecommerce for 8 years and this lack of information is far away of what is expected nowadays… I am the COO of a company and information is at least what you should give to all of people who funded your project… 0 emails in months…

I’m sorry to be so direct, but I get complains for 20€ order with a delay of 24h,… and I answer all of them.

thank,
Roger

They are working on a solution to ship to Russian backers, so please be patient a little longer.

I just spent some time reading these posts. I’m backer #17XXX in the USA. I’d just like to say that I sincerely appreciate all that Philips and the moderator here (bless you sir!) are doing to keep us informed during this time. I have no idea when I’ll receive mine, and while I’d love to have it soon, I completely understand the delay. We all should! I think it’s important that we all remember what’s going on in our world and show a bit more empathy and compassion With our fellow man. It looks like a full time job just to respond to all of these queries, I can’t imagine! That said, I appreciate the efforts of all involved and can’t wait to enjoy my new projector, whenever that may be. Y’all be safe and take care of each other!

All the best,

Aaron Leicht

You’re basically asking them to just publicly share their whole administration here.
What good would it do to share this information? So what if we know ID 98765 is in the US and 98766 is in Canada. How will that be of any relevance to backer 12345 or all Canadian backers, if for instance a shipper no longer ships or a border closes or re-opens?

Some information is useful and furthers understanding, I just don’t see how knowing this level of detail will help anyone get their perk sooner nor actually be capable of predicting the deliveries with any better form of accuracy than a Ouija board or the stars.

Word “backers” looks like “hackers” when followed by “Russian” haha. Okay, hope they’ll figure it out. Or send with regular post, it works pretty fine.

Hi, @Philips_Support_N could you please check the Lao one as I believe I was the only person in Laos but I had changed my address to Australia! Please do not ship it to Lao PDR.

It’s a crazy time to be living in. People are threatening and almost killing each other over toilet paper, hand sanitizer, and sometimes when reading this forum, you’d think also over projectors!

Don’t forget that Philips need to send more than just one unit to many of the countries that their shipper said weren’t open for these kind of shipments. You or I may be able to send ONE PicoPix Max somewhere by labelling them Children’s Toy, but when they have to send 10s or 100s of them, it becomes a different ballgame

Did anyone else try to add those numbers up? About 5k are labeled with “shipped”.
Where did the remaining ~ 2000 units go to? What’s my mistake here?

Hey, please stop spamming!

You did so by mailing support@screeneo.com? And got a reply?

These are backers, not units. Some backers have more than one perk in their pledge. Could that be your mistake as you call it? :man_shrugging:t4:

Check the comments from PhilipsNono from earlier today, especially the screenshots.

They also explained that they are waiting for 1800 light engines on the 20th, which are essential for production. So multiple streams causing delays but things are moving forward.

so you think about a third of the delivered ppms were send to ppl ordering multiple ppms?
yeah … thats what i get from the posts in this forum for sure.

(even though Nono specifically said “devices shipped” but you seem to be sure)

Why do you delete my posts? Do they bother you?

My question to you is: does it really matter? When you’re at the bakery waiting in line to buy bread, does it matter how many people already came in that day or what and how many they bought? Only thing that matters to me is getting my number called so I can take my bread home. The baker just popped his head out and explained his current struggles getting the bread baked, but he’s still busting his ass to get them baked and into the shop for all those still in line.

Agree, nobody cares about each other. Neither about those Chinese workers who go to work even now. And that’s very sad :pensive: I see that there are many things which Philips could do better, for e.g. automate some routine processes like emails, address validation and so on. But it’s still people who stay behind this, who make mistakes, learn something new. It’s not coffee automate where you put money in and get coffee in a second. Personally I take it as investment because of fallen rouble exchange rate
