For example: Batch size = the minimum number of devices you would give to the forwarder. That way you will never have people end up in later batches than planned.
But if the QC at the end of the produciton week is not OK, they would have to shift all the future batches and if yesterday you were in the n-th batch, now you would be in the (n+1)-th batch
Hi @Philips_Support_N, you have stated already many times that you donât want to do this, to avoid that people would complain if your published would not be followed.
You could put some margins in the schedule as well, but at least it would give people some idea when their device will be manufactured, send, ⌠You canât communicate on delivery, but on manufacturing you should have an idea.
I backed on other project last year on Indiegogo, Pamu Slide, in this is the way they communicated their schedule. Please consider this again, it will take away a lot of unnecessary questions and frustration. Maybe you could just indicate an expected production month ?
thanks
Oh
OkâŚcd u tell me whr I can access the list.
Thx
But if you only count the units that you actually send as batches this problem doesnât exist right? In my proposed batch list there are !no dates! only batch numbers and status.
You just push all the dates back a week if a weekly batch is rejected. This is the sort of project management that hasnât been happening (at least not openly)
I propose this but without any proposal on date of shipping, no day, no week, no month, not even a year. Itâs already great to know how many minimum size batches we still have to wait.
@Philips_Support_N Is 7PM regarding the tracking for the Europe batch? Or something else?
Itâs easy enough then for people to extrapolate based on past production.
Hello @Philips_Support_N .
Tell me please, did you find a solution for delivery to Russia?
My number baker_id =15583819 already the second sheepment âthrown away.â
It bothers me
Do you have any good news?
NEWS
Concerning the 1624 pieces: our forwarder just told us that they are pushing to book the flight: but impossible to get a flight before the 1st of May
This the story of last week anything new it seems we are getting fed up now
We share with you the information we have. We are pushing everyday our forwarders and suppliers.
I know and thatâs great. What Simon and I are talking about is to also share your plans without making promises that you canât keep. It is absolutely possible. Be conservative, structured, clear and donât make promises or projections about dates.
The question that you answer with it is: âHow is Screeneo planning to fulfill the orders?â
If you would have never shared any dates with the backers but only the structured plan, far less backers would have become upset because less promises/projections would have been broken. (As many people have said: My expected delivery date has already gone from December to January to March to April to May and still I have no Idea what your plan is)
Are these devices already booked electronically for DHL?
not yet
is the UK shipment happening this week?
Any update on shipping to Brunei? I did try to look through the summary but canât see anything as yet
Is this the batch from 14th?
