General info about shipment and manufacturing

@Philips_Support_N any news when shipping to saudi arabia will start i am waiting from September 2019 and still No news

It’s difficult. I know I’ve been one of the more vocal on here, but if I hadn’t been Philips/Screeneo wouldn’t have found out that there was a problem with the support emails going missing.
I would say that when you make a reasoned case to @Philips_Support_P and @Philips_Support_N, they generally respond positively and help resolve things. They’ve stepped in three times now to fix things with my faulty device, the returns not working with TNT, and support emails going missing.
I’d like to think my persistence has helped troubleshoot some issues, and Screeneo employees have stepped in to help as soon as it became clear there was a problem.
Could things have gone better? Probably!
Are they trying to do the right thing, and learning from their mistakes? Absolutely!

Uncertain information is still useful. I do understand that you are annoyed, though.

I can’t believe the aggressivity shown here.
What’s the point of spiting your frustration.
those forums are for infos, when the infos are available people from Philips post about it.
Being inpatient and agressive won’t change anything, there have been hiccups on the production, and the virus didn’t help, but you will all get your perc. Stop asking for tracking numbers too, once they will be available and scanned you will get those.
The big problem is that most people seems not to know what is a perc and a crowdfunding. I have participated into some that never were finalized, first thing to do is read the rules. Please stop throwing your anger on people that are here to help, this is horrible for them and annoying for everyone else.

Guys ! U all must be joking !! How did u do before without your video projector ?? Well you are going to do the same because we are having one of our the worst time in our history . People are dying , it’s a panic everywhere and that is very understandable. I m sure Philips are doing there best and The projector is on its way . So chilled out and stop behaving like spoil brat . Keep safe X

You repeating yourself doesn’t change facts…You seem to have all the answers…then please explain the logic of blocking 400 units which can neither be sold nor be used when 1000s of consumer backers are waiting for their units for almost half a year…what good are those units to distributors if they can’t be sold?? …I can understand your bias given that you are the appointed “Moderator/beta tester” but don’t sell yourself so short that you stop seeing the wrong from the right

I have to keep repeating myself as people don’t seem to understand what has been said.

If you walk into a bakery and there’s 6 people in front of you, does it matter that 2 of them actually work at that same bakery and are in line to buy some lunch for themselves? You’re still 7th in line, so you’ll have to wait til your turn comes up.

I certainly don’t have all the facts, but I have quite some common sense and the ability to read and understand what’s been said, and think rationally what might be the case.

Perhaps knowing that there have been so many delays in getting this product to all their backers, Philips have made sure that the backers who are distributors get an embargo on the sales until such time that all other “regular” backers are fulfilled first.
So following my previous example, the baker has taken the order of the co-workers, gave them their breads before you, but told them to wait till after you and everybody still left get theirs to start having their lunch.

My bias towards seeing things differently from some people who have been unfulfilled doesn’t come from any title or function appointed or earned, it comes from knowing that in the end of the day, once I committed to backing a product on IndieGoGo or similar crowdfunding platform, I have to wait patiently to get it if at all. In this campaign there have been and probably still will be many delays, setbacks, file errors, unforeseen mistakes, random customs inspections, foreign countries requiring more paperwork, even a worldwide pandemic causing lockdowns and reduced workforce’s due to quarantine, but the product is real, being produced (again), and finding it’s way to costumers despite all of this.

Sure I’m happy I got mine in February, having backed in August last year, but I still feel for everyone not able to enjoy theirs yet. That’s why I invest a lot of time reading and writing on the forum. I could choose to not explain things the way I’ve read or interpret them, or to try to point others to the current information.

Lots of people who’ve been waiting are frustrated, and yes, frequent status updates would help ease that, but I do believe the team is doing all it can to give those while being transparent as much as they can.

Why don’t you update a chart on a single page where you specify how many pieces ready with dhl and which countries you are sending to…
This is all so confusing.

Excellent analogy. But to be fair it might bother you if one of the people in front of you bought all the sandwiches in the shop, leaving nothing for you, especially if they then didn’t even eat those sandwiches for lunch that day, but put them aside for a party at the weekend :grinning:

Morning folks! I am bored of so much complains. I am eager to have my handy projector at home already, but all this nonsense makes me yawn… hold steady and wait for news. Just enjoy living the end-to-end process.

Are the products sent to the ppl forgotten with ID under 4000 for ppl around the world?
I have read previously that it concerned only Europe/NZ/Australia.
I’m 1986 ID, living in Shanghai…
Haven’t got any news.
We are only 3 in China to have order it…

They are only for EU for this batch. And no one will be forgotten… Give it some more time.

NEWS:

  • Goods have been released from customs and shipped to EU on today’s flight.

You also need to know that 80% of flights are now taken for MEDICAL supplies. So it’s hard to get a flight. Also, our forwarder was supposed to ship to EU+ NZ+AU and other countries but they decided to ship to ONLY NZ/AU+EU because the number of device was not enough…They needed to fill the Air container otherwise the cost of shipment will have increased. NZ/AU: already shipped last week and out of HK.

Now here are the steps:

  • Get the tracking numbers from DHL Germany (please read this: https://www.logistics.dhl/global-en/home/global-news-alerts/global-messages/coronavirus.html). They are not generated from HK but from the HQ of DHL. We are waiting for their feedbacks

  • Goods are in the plane to Belgium in 1 container (air). The tracking numbers ARE NOT working till they arrived in Germany as you cannot follow online when we ship from HK to Belgium (like last shipment to EU)

  • From Belgium, all packages goes to Germany for custom clearance

  • Then in Germany: we will need to check if it’s safe to ship in each countries. Some countries closed their borders and customs/post are not working anymore (like in France for eg). I strongly suggest that you check your own country situation

  • When the goods arrive in Germany, you will be able to follow all the tracking numbers

  • NEXT SHIPMENT: Other countries: Factory 1: 420 to 450 and Factory 2: 1,000 pieces devices ready for QC on Thursday. Will keep you posted on the exact number. More information on Monday about the second assembly
