Shipment to Qatar

I did not distance myself. I explained to you that contrary to what you implied, I’m not trying to mislead anyone, but that what I tell you is what I personally know. I was not aware of the UPS shipment, that I also truthfully disclosed. So in what way am I distancing myself, when all I’m telling is the truth?

And I did not contradict myself when you’re referring to things I said in the past as if they’re applicable now. What I said was the truth when I said it, the fact that you feel mislead is not my doing according to me. Things keep shifting and changing, and I work with the information I know. The fact that I did not know about the UPS shipment is perhaps my fault as I was busy handling a lot of other tickets, but all I can do is truthfully own that like I did.

@IvoGrijt I know that you have done your best and we are all appreciate that. My only point is that rather then to quickly press reply button, may be best if you can touch base with your team to confirm if the course of action is still the same. After all as you said, you are not sitting with them and the situation is very dynamic.

When I address question to you or rest of the team, I expect an official reply from Philips projection team, not a personal reply especially when dealing with shipment etc. I am sure you can understand my feeling seeing Olivier got his unit (really happy for him), while I am getting reply that still no solution for shipment to Qatar. Worst is that I am not in the missing list for shipment.

Moving on, can you @IvoGrijt or @Philips_Support_N or @Philips_Support_N confirm what is the plan for remaining backers in Qatar?

Tomorrow we will first try to understand what the issue is for ajmalmulla’s shipment, and if all OK, we will ship from Switzerland for the rest of you in Qatar.

We called, and in fact UPS is sending the Max back to us because of the battery. Nono says this happens sometimes, but we will send it out again, as they often let the product go through.

@Philips_Support_N can’t you send it with the local post office as was done for @captainolivez. I guess that’s the tried and tested way.

We just resent it with DHL like for captainolivez. It appears that DHL hands it over to local Qatar post for delivery. Your new tracking number is: DHL 5108392866

That’s because you’re actually using the Deutsche Post service and not DHL per se (though DHL belongs to DP). That’s why it is then handed over to Qatar Post. If you were to use an upgraded DHL service (as in courrier), it would probably be more expensive and faster.

I think we used full DHL this time, not Deutsche Post…

I received my DHL tracking number. Will update you with the progress. Eagerly waiting for the Max in action.

So far so good… already in Qatar!

Happy to report that the unit safely arrived this afternoon. Yet to test though. Thank you all PPM team for all the supports.

We stopped it, but we might reactivate it once we get the rest of the shipping issues resolved.

Finally received my unit. Will try the projector during the weekend!
