General info about shipment and manufacturing

The problem is not the list it self (which provides indeed enlightment) what it’s confusing is that if a post that say “Hey we have good news for people of the following countries below the list…” and you are in one of those but shockingly people with an higher backerID number got their Picopix Max first well… It shoul be not a suprise that the people are CONFUSED

You (as in @Philips_Support_N, not you personally!) certainly don’t make a post like that and then appear to run off and hide, you have to expect that if you make a post like that, that there will be questions asked and that people will want to know the answers.

I appear to have gone from definitely getting one from this batch that’s in germany, to no your’s is in the next batch, only for the list to be posted and my backer kit number being missing.

The ordering was done on Indiegogo backer ID, not on Backerkit ID (they are different). The numbers shared by @Philips_Support_N are presumably Backerkit IDs, so the order of these numbers are not relevant (someone might be an early backer in Indiegogo, but completed the survey in Backerkit very late). For me, it feels like Screeneo has learned a lot on how to handle crowdfunding

Yes, the list definitely helps and yes, it’s nothing to do with the order of backing. Backerkit though is not really user friendly as you have to read the source code just to get your id.
@Philips_Support_N: As mentioned by someone else: Would it be possible to post the ids of the batch that has already been sent to EU/Germany?

The list is missing. Does anyone have a copy? Looking for 15592602
Cheers

Never mind. I found the update. Thanks.

@Philips_Support_N I’m backer #3333 UK forgotton (TWICE), and my Backerkit number is 11610152 and not in the list you provided for the next batch.

What the hell is going on? Are you seriously leaving me out for the THIRD time. Please fix this asap and send my unit along with all others you have left out for no apparent reason ASAP. The frustration you have caused everyone is ridiculous.

@Tom123 Please ensure you’re not mixing invoice number with backerkit id. If you go to the backerkit site, hit ‘View Page Source’ in your browser, then find ‘backer_id’ in the HTML source. That’s the number you should check against the list provided by @Philips_Support_N. The number is usually in the ‘155xxxx’ range.

I still haven’t heard back from you guys?

You are right! I found the correct backer kit which is in the list above, all be it, a lot of us should have been in the last batch. @Philips_Support_N when will this new batch be sent?

Edit:

What an utter cluster**** todays update has been. A number that differs from anything anybody sees, a number that differs from what appears when you click print confirmation. A number that only seems to appear (as far as I can see) hidden in the source of the HTML.

So it would appear that mine is in the next batch, this is still awful communication from Screeneo, the past two weeks of lies to UK customers has left a bad taste in my mouth. It also shouldn’t have to be like a quest in the crystal maze to figure out if you are included in the next batch.

So now I have the confirmation I was asking for 2 weeks ago as to whether our units are shipping, why this couldn’t have been said back then is baffling, but this is where we find ourselves.

The handling of these particular units has been awful, I think at the very least a heartfelt apology to us as customers is the least that we’re owed. Most of the frustrations and resentment could have been avoided 2 weeks ago if they’d been honest about the situation. None of the backers who have been affected by this shipping mess up are angry with the delays caused by covid or indeed the normal delays that most crowdfunding projects have, this has been a very specific problem that has caused all of this.

I just pray that when my unit turns up that it’s not faulty!

How do i do that …can’t see any source code anywhere on backerkit

Go to the backetkit page for your pledge, view the source of the page (you may need to enable developer mode) and then search for backer_id on the page.

Visit the https://philips-picopix.backerkit.com/ website. Right click, then select ‘View Page Source’ (depends on which browser you’re using, I’m using Chrome). You’ll see the HTML sourcecode of the page. Hit Ctrl-F (or Cmd-F) to search for ‘backer_id’. The number next to the phrase found is your backerkit id (should be something like 155xxxxx)

Tja. I’m guessing they used the service of Backerkit to help them with the logistics of shipping thousands of units all over the globe (while keeping shipping costs to a minimum, and at the same time trying to honour the order of backer number). Using the Backerkit service probably helps, but it’s still a logistical nightmare.

Trust me, I get it all. But posting a set of badly formatted numbers which don’t relate to anything that any customer can see easily and then disappearing isn’t great communication. Having to do “view source” to find the information is not ideal, but if it was the only way to relate the numbers then they should have told people how to do it.

Hello @Philips_Support_N @IvoGrijt

My Backer Kit IDs are 15588457 &15588454 (ordered and to be delivered in UK), I can’t see them in this list you have posted. since most of the numbers in the list are after this could you please check if my order is on the ones already sent to EU (I haven’t received any emails yet). or is something you missed out in the published list.

thanks in advance

Agreed. If I can make a simple suggestion to @Philips_Support_N: Please just post the Indiegogo contribution numbers, those should be in chronological order and easy to find for backers in their mailbox. We understand that you batch units for specific geographic areas to keep shipping costs low. If you also include the destination region (e.g. EU, US, AUS/NZ) then backers have more visibility on their position in the shipping queues. I was actually quite happy to see the id-numbers shared (finally).
